Medical Review Officer (MRO)
A licensed physician, independent from the Laboratory, who is certified and possesses knowledge in the field of substance abuse, pharmacology and toxicology drug testing. The MRO is responsible for reviewing drug test results, conducting interviews with positive test recipients, monitoring drug rehabilitation and return to work testing, and monitoring laboratory performance to insure quality control.
